Schindler appoints José Couto as Director HR for Southern Europe

The Schindler Group Management recently promoted Jose Couto, Director of Human Resources Schindler Spain and Portugal to the position of Director of Human Resources Southern Europe. The professional who has about five years of experience in the Swiss company, is responsible for the management of people in the southern European markets, which also includes Turkey, Israel and Africa.

With a law degree from the Universidade Clássica de Lisboa, Jose Couto has several years of experience in multinational companies and has held several positions throughout his career. In 2010 he joined Schindler Spain, assuming the position of Director of Human Resources, a responsibility which was later expanded to the Iberian Peninsula.
He was born in Lisbon. Cinema is one of his main hobbies and he is also an aficionado of bullfights.
