Official visit to Lisbon of Dr. Stéphane Rossini

On the past 25th and 26th June, the President of the National Council of the Swiss Parliament, Dr. Stéphane Rossini, with a delegation of Parliamentarians, made an official visit to Lisbon to meet the President of the Portuguese Republic Assembly and different Parliamentary committees.

These meetings, as well as those with the Minister of Economy, the Minister for Environment, Planning of Territory and Energy and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs allowed a constructive dialogue on actual issues, such as relations with Europe and the bilateral relations between Switzerland and Portugal. This dialogue is particularly important as Switzerland welcomes a large Portuguese community.
