SWISS welcomes the Bombardier CSeries in Zurich

SWISS presented in Zurich his new Bombardier CSeries fleet and revealed details of their attractive and innovative cabin interiors and their new places. The airline, the first to have this model, expects to receive the first orders for the CS100 version in mid-2016, in order to dedicate them to their medium and short routes in Europe.

The SWISS CEO Harry Hohmeister; the President of Bombardier Commercial Aircraft, Fred Cromer, and the President of the Government of the canton of Zurich, Ernst Stocker, gave the welcome to the new aircraft, notable for its low noise, energy efficiency and comfort on board. With the introduction of the CSeries, SWISS will create more than 150 jobs between 2016 and 2018 and will have one of the most modern fleets in Europe.
SWISS revealed the interior design of its new plane. The cabin shows its luminosity and is much more attractive, due to its roominess and silence for the comfort of the passengers and their highly innovative seats manufactured by ZIM.

SWISS will be the first airline to receive and operate with Bombardier CSeries mid 2016. The airline made a total order for 30 CSeries aircraft, including 10 CSeries 100 units and ten other types CSeries 300.
